Summary for To Serve is Divine:
Catherine O’Chancey is reserved, demure, and graceful. All traits enhanced by the world of Dominance and submission. Dallas, Texas is her destination for a fresh start from a tragic experience. After much deliberation, she attends an open-night event at an exclusive BDSM club because the need to submit which resides deep inside her is not a choice.
Is it fate or coincidence that she garners the attention of a Dom who is on the hunt for the perfect sub – a partner who enjoys receiving pain and pleasure as much as he enjoys doling it out?
Jayden Masterson is a Dom who doesn’t have an interest in relationships outside of contractual ones with his submissives. He likes his sex rough as long as it’s consensual. However, upon meeting Catherine, he finds that he is interested in more than just her body.
Could she be the ‘jewel’ he’s been searching for?
Excerpt from To Serve is Divine:
Jayden reached down and pinched her lace-covered nipple eliciting a soft gasp from her. “Good. Let’s get started, shall we?”
The question was rhetorical and they both knew it.
“In a moment I’m going to take out my cock and you’re going to suck it until I come, but you will not swallow, nor will you spit it out. You’ll hold it until I tell you otherwise,” he went on while he lowered his zipper and extracted his cock, which was already hard and taut. “Open.”
Catherine parted her lips on command, a little nervous about the task ahead of her. Spencer had often done that – filled her mouth with his rancid spunk and left her holding it for long periods of time while she drooled unable to stop the natural buildup of saliva in her mouth. Before her mind could take her back to the last time, and the beating she’d received for allowing Spencer’s seed to spill, Sir Jayden’s cock passed over her lips.
Musky.
Smooth.
Perfect.
Catherine closed her lips and hollowed her cheeks allowing Sir’s soft grunts to spur her on. Lost in the task at hand, she was surprised when his hand tightened in her hair loosening her neat twist, and he reminded her not to swallow, but hold. The realization that she had brought her Sir to pleasure so fast had her yearning to be touched between her legs; whether it was a gentle finger or the flick of a crop – anything would bring her relief right now.
She nodded and felt her mouth fill, then she wanted to cry when Sir told her to show him how she played with her pussy. Catherine worried that she wouldn’t be able to carry out his wishes. After all, her own hand had failed to bring her pleasure in the recent past.
“Show me, Catherine; show me what it takes to make that pussy quiver. Come for me, and you may spit, or swallow if you choose, and then you may enter my home.”
Interview Questions:
Me: What would you rather read, romance/ horror/ thriller or suspense/ psychological?
R.E. Hargrave: I’m a sucker for a good romance, but really like a good drama as well; whether that drama comes from a paranormal storyline, a crime mystery, or even somehow takes you to another world.
Me: Is there anyone in your family who knows you write, if so, who?
R.E. Hargrave: Yes, my family knows. Considering all the time I spend on the computer doing the writing, editing, marketing, et cetera that goes with having books out there, my husband and three children couldn’t escape the knowledge if they wanted to! Extended family should know as I’ve not kept it a secret on my Facebook account. ;)
Me: What are you working on at the moment, FanFiction or an Original Fiction?
R.E. Hargrave: At this time I am working against the clock to finish the second book of my Divine Trilogy, A Divine Life. I’ve also had another novella accepted by Renaissance Romance Publishing called Haunted Raine (which will be included in the first book of their beach reads collection scheduled for release this July) which is in the editing juggernaut at the moment.
Beyond that, while I’m not physically working on them yet, the ideas are simmering in my head and before the year is over I hope to get two more novellas written: one for Renaissance Romance’s Fall Fires open call (which will be a male/male anthology) and the other for a special project that Renaissance Romance is finalizing details on so I can’t say just yet ;) In addition, I have two FanFictions that my readers have been extremely patient (for which I couldn’t be more grateful) while they wait that I need to finish: Elf and Uninhibited Wallflower.
Of course, me being me, I’ve got half a dozen or so stories started in assorted documents. What I need to make a decision on is whether I will continue them as FanFictions or make them originals; a couple of them definitely are leaning toward the FanFiction side of the spectrum.
Me: Have you published any work yet, if so, what? If not, do you plan to publish anything?
R.E. Hargrave: I currently have two books in publication and they can be found here: http://www.rehargrave.com/p/get-it-here.html
Sugar & Spice: Lacey Harrison has been dealt an unexpected hand in life: being a single mom. With her father's help and that of the residents at Royal Hills Nursing Home, she thrives and goes on to become a successful baker. She is content with her life but knows that she and her daughter Candy are missing something. Will things change for the better when Trent Childress moves into town and adds some spice to her sugar? (1 of 4 books in Book 4 of the Candy Collection: Sugarplum Dreams)

Me: Family Guy, The Simpsons or American Dad?
R.E. Hargrave: I’ll have to go with Family Guy; my husband and I swear there are hidden cameras in our house collecting material to turn into shows. A prime example is the one where Peter starts tickling Lois and she nails him with the frying pan . . .
Seriously people, if someone tells you to STOP tickling them, for your own safety you should listen!
Me: What's your favourite food? Why?
R.E. Hargrave: I have a horrible sweet tooth so chances are if it has chocolate in it, then we can be friends.
Me: Do you have any advice for aspiring authors? Any words of encouragement?
R.E. Hargrave: Never discredit yourself; we all think what we’re writing is rubbish until someone else tells us otherwise. Have faith in yourself and keep believing you can do it if you really want it.
Some good advice there from R.E. Hargrave. If anyone is interested in reading some of her FanFiction work, please head on over to http://www.fanfiction.net/u/2280945/texasbella, where she has about thirty fics available for reading., including Dreaming of Andromeda, Again & Again, Through the Woods and many more.
Keep an eye out for more interviews with authors!!
